I went birding today at the Inglewood Bird Sanctuary.
Since retirement in July 2015, I have taken up photography as a hobby. I take my camera with me most times I am out walking or travelling. I love capturing the moment. This section of the Bow River in Calgary between the McKenzie foot bridge and the Stoney Trail bridges is where I take 90% of my pictures. Today I was late getting out and although I was lugging 8 pounds of camera gear with my telephoto lens, all the landscape pictures were taken on my cell phone.......
