Since retirement in July 2015, I have taken up photography as a hobby. I take my camera with me most times I am out walking or travelling. I love capturing the moment. Today we travelled north of Zvolen to a small town nestled in a valley, the town of Spania Dolina. This ancient village has a history in mining copper. Mining ended in the late 1800's and the village became known for it's bobbin lace.
