September 24, 2019 - Pictures of the day

Today we travelled from Zvolen to Strbske Pleso in the High Tetras. The Tretas are a mountain range in Northern Slovakia on the border with Poland. Slovakia has the High Tetras and the Low Tetras. Along the way we stopped at Donovaly, a ski resort, where we started the day off with an espresso, Demanovska Dolina and toured an Ice Cave, it was huge. We had to hike up a 450 meter elevation to reach the entrance of the cave and the tour through the cave took 50 minutes, descending and ascending on steps and catwalks. The next stop was Pribylina which had a reconstruction of an Medieval village, reminded me a lot like Barkerville in B.C.
