It's an Immature Snowy Owl.
Since retirement in July 2015, I have taken up photography as a hobby. I take my camera with me most times I am out walking or travelling. I love capturing the moment. Today we went out hunting for the Snowy Owl. Fellow birders had recommended a location NE of Strathmore. It was about an hours drive from our home but well worth the trip. This is my first sighting of a Snowy Owl, I'll return before they migrate to the Arctic in the spring.
