Mixed bag of weather today, snowed most of the morning then mixed sun and cloud for the rest of the day.
This sums up the day, you can see the sun centre bottom of the picture.
This Bald Eagle was perched on a tree on the other side of the river
This male Merganser was all by himself on a chunk of ice in the middle of the river
Don't know what this is but it looked pretty in the sun
Don't know this one either, very common along the river banks
The sun caught this grass nicely
Since retirement in July 2015, I have taken up photography as a hobby. I take my camera with me most times I am out walking or travelling. I love capturing the moment. I hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed taking them. I live in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. To view best quality, click on each picture.
